Kia āhei te ākonga ki te whai mātauranga me ngā pūkenga tūāpapa hei whakakupu hononga ki te mana whenua mā te whenua, mā te taiao, mā ngā wāhi mana nui, mā ngā tāngata o tēnā rohe. This course aims to enable ākonga to develop foundation level knowledge and skills to express connections with mana whenua through the land, the environment, prominent places and people of the area.
