Kia āhei te ākonga ki te whai mātauranga me ngā pūkenga tūāpapa hei whakakupu hononga ki te mana whenua mā te pūrākau: te whenua, te taiao, ngā wāhi mana nui, ngā tāngata o tēnā rohe. This course aims to enable ākonga to develop foundation level knowledge and skills to connect with local mana whenua through pūrākau: the land, the environment, prominent places and people of the area.
