Database Design

To enable students to specify, design and maintain mechanisms for storage and access to both structured and unstructured information, in support of business information.

The learning outcomes for this course are:

Demonstrate ability to implement physical database structures using project requirements.

Apply knowledge of database concepts, data modelling techniques and design principles to produce detailed database designs.

Demonstrate skills in coding, testing, correcting, and documenting moderately complex databases and SQL scripts.
